Presenting genetic diversity indicators: webinars with G-BiKE, GEO BON and the CBD Secretariat

 

We recently presented two webinars in November 2022. These webinars:

  1. Explain the rationale behind genetic diversity indicators

  2. Address the concerns of CBD policymakers

  3. Describe how countries around the world are currently deploying genetic diversity indicators and finding them useful (Japan, Australia, Colombia, Mexico, France, Sweden, Belgium and South Africa)

  4. Include Q&A sessions

  • Connected to the GBF

  • Can be updated every five years or less

  • Peer-reviewed and ready for use (as outlined by the CBD).
